Things to do in Morocco:

Don't miss the forts, desert towns and ruins that are scattered across the Sahara.




Hassan II Mosque: Situated in the coastal city of Casablanca, this is the third largest mosque in the world. Incidentally, the minaret of this mosque that measures a 210 meters is the largest of its kind. The hall in the main mosque can accommodate upto 25,000 devotees and the entire premises can house another 80,000 pilgrims. The architecture of Hassan II Mosque is a blend of traditional touch and modern engineering.

 

 

 


Majorelle Garden: Another major tourist attraction is Majorelle Garden in Marrakech. The highlight of this botanical garden is the extensive use of the colour cobalt blue in almost everything- flower pots, gates and fountains. Bird watching is also a popular option to explore as there are various species of bird can be seen here.

 

 


The Souks: They are the market places in Morocco. Go out for some shopping of the ethnic Moroccan stuffs in these bustling souks. The vendors are usually well mannered and accommodate a bit of bargaining as well!
